...by which I mean, starch-based packaging peanuts. I've just been sent a box of them (there was a small electrical item in there, but I'm not putting that in the bin!) and I'm wondering how to use them. They're dry, so will act like paper in absorbing moisture, but then they will collapse into a starchy mush. I'm guessing that they'll get my bugs all in a lather, so might be a tasty treat to keep things going in the winter, but would gum things up if I put in too many at a time. Any thoughts?
