  • Can you hot compost sheep's wool?

By this I don't mean knitted articles, but the raw fleece as taken off the animal's back! From time to time my daughter gets whole fleeces from our local shepherd, to use in her spinning. In case that sounds very rustic we both live in south London. Every so often she gets one that isn't suitable to spin, and was wondering if it could be composted.

They are not on this list, but pet hair and human hair are, so I don’t see why not!
