Does anyone have any tips on how to prep the Hotbin so that it keeps running whilst I'm away for a week, doesn't fill up with leachate etc?

I've discovered that privet hedge clippings mixed with a little grass and cardboard keep my bin at a constant higher temperature for longer periods. It seems to have a nice mix of green/brown and the woody parts are good bulking agent. You could maybe stick a bit of tube into the leachate hole and let it drain into another sealed container?
