Microwaved food waste to jump start hotbin

Bin lapsed to around 15 deg C and I really didn't want to use the bottle, so I microwaved some food waste - around 3 lbs - piping hot and added in the deepest hole I could dig in the bin and covered it back up with some grass and chipped branches, leaves etc. One day later and bingo! 55 deg C.

Did this again 3 days ago with the bin having cooled to 18 deg C. Not so much waste this time (about 1lb) and this morning, it’s 38 deg C and climbing.
