Hi all, I have had a hot bin for some time and I am getting better at keeping the heat in etc. my problem at the moment is that I am not getting any Leachate out. It never came out of the tap but came out of the vent. Recently I seem to have brown staining all around the bin. (It is stood on a paving slab) but nothing from anywhere else. I have no idea where the moisture is coming from. How can I correct it so the I can collect the liquid again?

It sounds like all the drainage holes at the base are blocked, therefore leachate is finding a way out through the door and staining the ground below. Only remedy would be to empty the solids so you can clear the grill on the bottom.
