I have just started using a Hotbin in SW France. We have a fair amount of vegetable and fruit peelings to compost, but I don't really want to spend hours chopping them into tiny 4cm pieces as recommended. I have been using a food processor to chop them up and so far it has seemed to go ok mixing them with grass cuttings (plus cardboard and wood chip). However it is early days and I wondered if anyone else uses a food processor for this purpose? Thanks
