Hi, our Hotbin arrived about 3 weeks ago, but we have not yet started it as around the same time we had a rat problem. Rats have now gone! Rat man advised putting the bin on 8 bricks with paving slab on top. He hadn’t had any experience of hotbins though. So can anyone advise on the ground on flat surface or as ratman suggests? The rats were in the back garden and did not enter the area at the side of the house where we plan to locate the bin.
