Hi everyone, I started my hot bin off two weeks ago. Used cardboard and some shredded paper, kitchen waste, garden waste and bulking agent as instructions. It got up to 45degrees after a few days and had grey mould on the top . I’ve put a kitchen caddy in twice this week with half brown cardboard and 1:5 bulking agent but temp this morning 20degrees ontop and 30degrees inside. I’ve just put another trugful of garden waste chopped up, half paper/card and three handfuls ofbulking agent so see if it goes up. Is it a prob we can’t get grass clippings as we don’t have any grass ? We also don’t use much paper so having to use torn up brown cardboard? Thankyou
