Hello from Cumbria

I have a new hotbin, will start it this week. I mainly want to compost kitchen waste as we dont have a local recycling collection for this. Reading other people’s stories I expect it to be tricky so will be interested in how others are getting on. We get loads of rain here so I am thinking about putting some kind of plastic hood over the bin so the inside doesn’t get wet. WIll be looking at the forum regularly! Happy composting....
