To keep temperature up, the microbes need fresh material to thrive and survive. Assuming you are in UK, we have had some very cold weather which will have an effect.
I have two HotBins. One is a mini and I draw an eggcupful of leachate daily. The other is a regular HotBin which never produces leachate. I offer both HotBins a similar mix of material.

    No leachate at all

We have been using the Hotbin for a month. Temperature went up to 50c but has since dropped to 20c. During this time no leachate at all has been produced. What has gone wrong please?
