I’m new to this hot in thing, we got it in April.
The temperature rarely tops 40, it’s fed from kitchen waste and grass, along with shredded paper and corrugated cardboard.
I drained the leachate tonight, it was a runny liquid but deep black with a slightly oily sheen on the surface and a bit of a smell.
Im not sure what I’m doing wrong, but it wasn’t brown and it wasn’t odourless. Do I need to feed it more dry stuff?
