Do vine weevil grubs survive the hot composting process? I need to repot my surviving heuchera. Thanks!

Hi PennyM, I assume that if it gets above 40 degrees then it will kill them. However as I assume you will be picking the grubs out from the soil (not advised to add soil to bin and you need to make sure you get all grubs out) my solution in past was to put them in a container for the birds to eat. I sympathise - have lost several plants to vine weevils.
